Scojet a US based company is looking for a full time technical sourcing manager to help locate new suppliers, communicating with existing suppliers, managing projects, communicating design of products with factories, translating documentation, interpreting and traveling with my US team when visiting China.
Scojet has been in business since 2001 and doing business in China since 2004.
Candidate should have a degree in International Business BS, Engineering BS or Manufacturing Engineering BS with experience working for a manufacturing company, international experience is helpful.
Candidate should have excellent written and spoken english skills. We are technical company, candidate must be able to learn technical terminology. Should have some experience locating suppliers and negotiating pricing. Experience with contracts is good.
Knowledge of die casting, injection molding, machining and stampings understanding of blueprints and engineering specifications is valuable.
Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Must be well organized and be able to track multiple projects.
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 3pm and 9pm to 11pm there may also be an hour per day on weekends if project needs to be discussed. Evening hours can be done at home.
Must be willing to travel, we have suppliers in all areas of China. Should be able to book tickets, hotels, schedule meetings. We have suppliers in Dongying, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Jiaonan, Qingdao, Ningbo
Our headquarters is in Ninghai, preferred candidate would be from that area. Willing to consider other cities if candidate is highly skilled and able to travel to Ninghai during day hours to meet with team when necessary.
Salary is USD $2000 to $4000/month based on experience.
